Cert. Course on RQM (11th)
Dear HKQMA and Supporting Organizations Members,


Further to our recent circular on the coming Certificate course on Registered Quality Manager which will be started from 10 October 2017, I would like to highlight some topics that may interest to you and your colleagues. All modules are conducting during the evenings of Tuesdays and Thursdays respectively. Each module is 3 hrs starting from 7:00 to 10:00pm.






Big Data,

Customer KM

This module introduces the DIKW Model, where the data converts to knowledge. An award winning real case of Big Data working in the transport operations will be discussed. Also, a new approach in Customer Knowledge Management by using Service Blue Print will be discussed with examples.

(Module 2)

TRIZ and Design Thinking

On 5th Aug., HKQMA conducted a well-received Weekend Seminar with Dr. Victor Lo to present on how organizations implemented innovation based on TRIZ and Design Thinking. This Module will disclose the tools in TRIZ and how to use the “Cards” for creative problem solving. The concept Design Thinking will be discussed.


Oct 31 (Module 7)

Software for data analysis

In this module, Minitab will explain and demonstrate us how to use the software for data analysis


Oct 17 (Module 3)

Theory of Constraints

In this module, the lecturer will demonstrate the Theory of Constraints as a methodology for identifying the most important limiting factor (i.e. constraint) that stands in the way of achieving a goal and then systematically improving that constraint until it is no longer the limiting factor in the service operations.


Nov 7 (Module 9)
